ABOUT ME

I have been teaching engineering and manufacturing at TCHS since 2002.  During my tenure at the school we have built a cutting edge program that offers our students an educational experience that is second to none.

I attended Cal Poly Pomona where I earned my bachelor's degree in engineering.  I was actively involved in the Society of Automotive Engineers and participated in both the Formula SAE and Baja SAE programs.  My master's degree was awarded from Northern Arizona University and is in Career & Technical Education with an emphasis in CAD-CAM Engineering.  I have multiple certifications in SolidWorks and MasterCAM, welding certifications and am also a licensed engineer.

Along with my wife who also teaches at TCHS, I coach the Titan Cycling mountain bike team.  Our team competes in the SoCal League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).  We race at various locations across the state in cross country events that challenge our athletes' endurance, skills and mental toughness.  For more information on NICA, click the button below.
